Urgent power off notice – Bells Pond Area

Transpower, the owner and operator of the National Grid, is undertaking urgent work on the network in your area. This is to remove numerous bird nests that have become a significant safety concern and the cause of faults.

For the crews to complete the work safely and efficiently, it will involve turning off the electricity to homes and businesses in this area.

Affected areas: Bells Pond area (see map)
Date: Tuesday, 3 September
Time: 10:30am – 11:30am

Affected residents and businesses have been notified via email or direct letter drop by Alpine Energy.

We understand the inconvenience this may cause, especially given that affected customers experienced an outage on Wednesday related to this issue. However, this work is essential to prevent more frequent and prolonged outages in the future.
