Washdyke Zone Substation Update

Welcome to our Washdyke zone substation update. We're excited to share the progress of this critical project, designed to meet the growing energy needs of South Canterbury's industrial sector as it moves towards renewable energy. We’re discussing the progress of stage one and introducing stage two, which will significantly increase capacity with the installation of 40MVA transformers and a new 33kV switchboard. This project, set for completion by 2028, aims to power local industry while enhancing community well-being with sustainable practices and thoughtful design.
